From Bob Schaeffer at FairTest:
Sunday, January 8, 2006 is the fourth anniversary of the date "No Child Left Behind" was signed into law by President Bush. To mark the occasion, National Public Radio's Claudio Sanchez did an excellent report on Weekend Edition. The story interviews Richard Rothstein, author of "Class and Schools" and Sec. Spellings (recycling the hoary mantra of "soft bigotry") and concludes with a fascinating quote from Rep. George Miller, explaining the perverse reasons he supports a law he knows will not work.
