Parents Are Not Worried About Math and Science
Ben Feller of the AP makes a rebound and actually does a story on something other than BushCo. press releases. A clip here:
Nationwide, a new poll shows, many parents are content with the science and math education their children get -- a starkly different view than that held by national leaders.
Mainstream American has been conditioned to be very complacent. There are not worried about careers in math/science or research/development because they have been handicapped by a system that has been slowing working against them to be non-thinkers or creators of knowledge.
The people that are going to take advantage of PACE grants are the rich, who have created them, as well as bloggers who have not been brainwashed into accepting that the mainstream media is the truth almighty. The PACE grants, if the actually come about, will further divide the ecomonic divide that is well established in our country.
Brainwashed parents do not know about articles on future trends or books like The World is Flat.
Dr. Horn I am sorry that your op-ed piece was not accepted and wonder if you thought about sending it to local papers through the US as a grassroots effort to stop the insanity? You might have some luck with The Free Lance-Star a local paper in Fredericksburg, VA; their site is @ www.frederickburg.com
