As Arne Duncan and Newt Gingrich rev up the bus for the summer "Race Over the Cliff" tour, Bill Maher has struck again, reminding us all that the Republican strategy of moving Rightward into LooneyLand with David Duke and Michael Savage has worked to their advantage: it has made them entirely unnecessary, for the Democrats have openly taken up the agenda of Big Business without all the liberal pretense that is no longer needed to distinguish them from the opposition's remaining nutocracy. Ted Kennedy and George Miller can openly advance the US Chamber of Commerce agenda for corporations running American education without batting an eye, and the Republicans can go on a long, long holiday--that or join the "post-partisan" bus tour to promote the eminent Final Battle against American public education.
The next President will not be from the remaining One-Party system.
