With the Mayflower Compact having been signed just down the road from here way back in 1620, the present-day Lord High Mayor Menino's appointed toadies will meet publicly Monday evening at English High School to formalize a brand new compact that will govern relations between the public schools and the separatists of the corporate welfare charter school sect. As indicated in an earlier notice, "the draft Compact is similar to agreements
announced in December 2010 involving nine cities that were part of an
initiative supported by Royalty's Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation."
The outcome of this coming Monday's meeting is a forgone conclusion, so any citizen who may have hoped to influence the final contents to the new compact (read the Boston Globe editorial on the proposed Compact) should not waste your time crafting a public comment. King William (Gates) already has his tax-sheltered corporate jet scheduled to fly him here on Tuesday for the ceremonial signing by the Elect (not to be confused with the elected).
The CorporatePower Compact is between Boston Public Schools and the Boston Alliance of Charter Schools, even though the latter group does not yet exist as an entity recognized by Massachusett's Secretary of State, or Google. Those kinds of details cannot stop progress, however. After all, there is a crisis that requires immediate action without a second more of the time-wasting democratic dilly-dallying. In the words of another separatist of the Mayflower era, John Winthrop, “A democracy is ... accounted the meanest and worst of all forms of government.”
The text of the CorpPower Compact:
Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord, King William (Gates), by the Grace of Mammon, of Taiwan, the U.S. and China, the Broad and Walton Foundations, etc. King, Defender of the Faith in Capitalism, e&;. Having undertaken for the Glory of Profit, and Advancement of the Philanthrocapitalist Faith, and the Honour of our King and and Oligarchy, a mission to plant the first publicly funded schools of corporate governance in the Northeast; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of Mammon, King William (Gates) and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a corporatized Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation of the Business Roundtable's Bottom Lines and Illusion of Competition, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid; And by Virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such unjust and unequal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the General good of the Plutocrats; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience. In Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Boston the ____ of September, in the Reign of our Sovereign Lord, King William of Redmond, Silicon Valley, Bangalore, etc. Anno Domini, 2011.
